Confirmation Waitlist for Summer and Fall 2025 Freshmen

Following the national decision deadline of May 1, the University of Kentucky transitioned to a confirmation waitlist for prospective first-year students for Summer and Fall 2025 who had not yet confirmed their plans by registering for BBN Orientation.

Freshmen can access the confirmation waitlist and learn more at go.uky.edu/confirmwaitlist25.

Readmitted and transfer students continue to have the ability to confirm plans to attend UK. The confirmation waitlist applies only to first-time freshmen.

Transfer BBN Orientation Information

Students can confirm their attendance at a BBN Orientation using the myUK web portal with the information provided in your admission letter. For any questions about your coursework from prior institution/s please contact the UK Transfer Center at 859-257-2000.

Note that international students have an additional orientation process managed by the UK International Center. Learn more about that timeline here.
