Transit
Campus buses are a great option for getting around campus quickly and reliably. They don't operate on a set time schedule. Instead, they run on a headway system with continuous, frequent service. There's no need to learn complicated or confusing bus schedules - simply find the nearest bus stop and the next bus is never far away.
All on and off campus bus routes are viewable in real-time on Transit, UK’s GPS-based bus locating system.
Final Transcripts
Once you have graduated, you will need to send a final high school transcript to UK. This transcript can be sent virtually to documents@uky.edu or a hard copy can be mailed to:
If you have completed dual credit courses while in high school, you will need to send an official transcript from the institution that hosted the course to the University of Kentucky. Dual-credit coursework can not be accepted from only a high-school transcript.

Required Online Training Courses
At UK, you play a crucial role in keeping our campus safe. To help you build the skills to handle issues that may arise around you, mandatory training courses are required for incoming students.
Students must complete these required courses to avoid an account hold that may prevent registration for the next semester, and include Hazing Awareness and Prevention, RespectEdu, and AlcoholEdu.
These courses are delivered through the Vector Solutions platform. These courses will launch on Tuesday, July 28, 2026.
iPad Initiative
Incoming degree-seeking, first-year students are eligible to receive an iPad as part of UK's iPad Initiative. The iPad kit also includes an Apple Pencil Pro and the Logitech Folio Touch Case.
Students should pre-register to pick up their iPad prior to the iPad distribution events taking place during K Week. Pre-registration will open on July 29, 2026.
